Students, their families and members of the EWG community recently celebrated Earth Day on Sunday, April 25th at the Louttit Library in West Greenwich. Sponsored by the West Greenwich Land Trust, the festivities included: • Live Music • A Rock Climbing Wall • Pony Rides • A Llama Hike on the Tefft Nature Trail • A Neighborhood Litter Clean Up • A Historic Cemetery Clean Up • Clam Cakes & Chowder by Hianloland Fire Company Exhibits included: • 4-H Animal Exhibits & Demonstrations • Wawaloam Elementary Student Recycled Materials Art • Metcalf Elementary Student Earth Day Posters • EWG Junior High Student Recycled Materials Art • EWG Senior High Student Fry Pond Conservation Area Photographs • Local Farmers, Vendors, Craftspeople and Organizations
